Your Voice Belongs Here

You don't need a title. Just a heart that loves the Lord, a mind shaped by truth, and the courage to speak with conviction.

InSight Out Media is a faith-based media organization exploring news, culture, and everyday life through a biblical lens. We help people see clearly, think biblically, and live faithfully. And we can't do that alone. We're looking for writers, podcasters, storytellers, and voices who want to be part of something bigger than a platform.

What We're Looking For

Writers and Essayists

Whether you're a seasoned journalist, a freelance writer, or someone with a story worth telling, we want to hear from you. You don't need a seminary degree or a theology background. Just clear thinking, honest writing, and a faith that shapes how you see the world.

  • News features and commentary
  • Cultural reflections and worldview analysis
  • Devotionals that dig deeper
  • First-person essays on faith, doubt, grief, identity, or calling
  • Hard topics handled with biblical truth and real hope

Podcast Voices

We're always open to great conversations. Whether you want to be a guest on The InSight Out Show, pitch a show concept for the IOM network, or bring an existing podcast under the IOM umbrella, we'd love to hear from you. If your voice and vision align with who we are, there's a place for you here.

  • Guest appearances on The InSight Out Show
  • Pitching your own show concept for the IOM network
  • Co-hosting or contributing to existing shows
  • Bringing your existing podcast into the IOM family

Other Ways to Contribute

Not a writer or podcaster? That's fine. IOM is built by people with all kinds of gifts. If you have a skill, a project, or an idea that could serve the mission, reach out. We'll figure it out together.

  • Reporting and interviews
  • Photography or visual storytelling
  • Documentaries and short-form films
  • Research and fact-checking support
  • Social media content

Writing Guidelines

  • Word count: 400-1000 words
  • Tone: Clear, bold, reflective, or informative. Not fluffy or preachy.
  • Include Scripture references with translation where appropriate

Accepted formats:

  • First-person essays
  • Devotionals
  • Cultural reflections
  • News features or commentary
  • Reported interviews or profiles

What We Don't Accept:

  • Promotional or sponsored content. We cover stories because they matter, not because someone asked us to promote them. That said, if you have a film, book, nonprofit, or project that genuinely aligns with IOM's mission, pitch us. We're always open to a good story.
  • AI-generated articles (editing assistance is fine)
  • Anonymous authors
  • Political rants or reactionary hot takes

How to Submit

For written pieces send the full article along with a short bio. If you'd prefer to pitch an idea first, email a short summary and your angle.

For podcast pitches or other collaboration ideas, tell us who you are, what you do, and what you'd like to bring to IOM.

Email: info@insightoutmedia.org

Format your submission:

  • File name: YourFullName_ArticleTitle.docx
  • Email subject line: Contributor Submission, Your Name, Article Title

We accept submissions on a rolling basis. We read everything but can't respond to every submission. If you haven't heard back within 3 weeks feel free to submit again in the future. We're grateful you took the time.

"If your piece helps someone see the world as God sees it and live as they ought, it probably belongs here."

News Features and Commentary

Timely, worldview-driven reporting and analysis. What's happening and what it means for people of faith.
